I used to be a big Marilyn Manson fan, but then he changed and I wasn't so sure anymore. Now I feel like he's slowly coming back.

I listened to "The Pale Emperor" and I quite liked it (Even my mom liked it), and I'd say it's around the same level of "The Golden Age Of Grotesque".
I personally prefer his earlier works, with "Holy Wood" being my favourite though that's more of a nostalgic choice than an objective one.

Most of my favourite songs are actually in "Mechanical Animals", and if you ask me my favourite song I'd probably say "Tourniquet" which is in "Antichrist Superstar".
I just really like all three albums basically.

I'm listening to Marilyn Manson's songs a lot lately and it's bringing back memories of school.
I vaguely remember talking to my middle school art teacher about that Nine Inch Nails video "Starfuckers Inc.", but I can't remember what I said (Probably something about Manson in drag).
Thinking back maybe that's why my music teacher later asked me to bring metal music to show the class.

I actually had no idea who Nine Inch Nails even were, and I still don't really. Back then they wouldn't air those videos during the day, but there actually was a night show focused on that. So I started recording all night, on video cassette of course.

The whole school knew I liked him, people I didn't even know, I guess it happens when you grow up in a small town (And I may have accidentally given a bad reputation to my second cousin who attended the same school).

Everyone came to me saying things like "You know he got his ribs removed so he could suck himself?" or "You know the boobs he had were real? He had a temporary boob job!".
Even back then I knew those rumors were simply ridiculous.

I was only a 10 y.o. when I heard him for the first time. It may surprise some but I was never scared of him, I found him interesting.
I always thought it was obvious how his image is meant to shock and doesn't represent who he really is, but many still don't get it.

Their style felt 'new' in the 90's. I know Marilyn Manson is a band, I did do my researches even though I never quite learned all the members' names. Internet was just starting out and most sites were in English (which I couldn't speak yet) so my only sources were music magazines and MTV.

In High School I found another fan and we would sing "Angel with the scabbed wings" while drawing in art class. And they called us vampires because we both had pale skin and dark hair. That was fun.

"Angel with the scabbed wings" was also the first song I tried translating when I was self teaching myself English, I sat with a dictionary on my lap and the album booklet in my hands trying to make sense out of it. Only to decide his lyrics were far too complicated and trying something else.

He has a new album called "Say10" scheduled to be released on Valentine's Day, he described it as a mix of "Antichrist Superstar" and "Mechanical Animals", I'm looking forward to it.

I actually hate this song since when my middle school english teacher decided we should sing it. She also decided we should all have duck beaks (shouldn't it have been mouse ears?).

Then I found these. When an artist you like covers a song that you hate you still sort of like it, right? My first reaction every time I see these is laughing, but then I can't help thinking how cute his voice is. Maybe I don't really hate this song anymore.

I wonder if Rin and Ken were ok with singing it.

He even make me want to visit Disneyland, his obsession is contagious!

After re-watching Gravitation I randomly discovered that they just released a new song compilation. Of course it's made by Daisuke but he actually got Kinya to re-record those songs.

Kinya Kotani who left 15 years ago, changed his look and made his own songs, only to revert back to his old self recently.

He now has a band and a new solo song, also produced by Daisuke.

I remember watching the PV for his song BLAZE but I was like "No, this isn't Kinya".
It's a nice song but I just couldn't recognize him, my sister also felt the same...

He doesn't seem to have changed much after all, I wonder if this means there's still hope for the others...

My sister is into Yaoi so once she watched Gravitation. She was trying to get me into Yaoi and told me about it, but the only reason why I watched it was because Daisuke Asakura made the soundtrack. So...

How most people watch Gravitation:

"Yaoi!"

How DA Family fans watch Gravitation:

"Dai-chan!"

The author, Maki Murakami, is known to be a big fan of Access and Daisuke Asakura. She also confirmed Tohma's character in Gravitation is based on Daisuke.

As if it wasn't obvious.

Since Murakami herself is a fan of Access and Tohma is based on Daisuke then Ryuichi Sakuma should be Hiroyuki Takami. Some say he may also be Michihiro Kuroda, mainly because Daisuke was in Iceman when the series was produced.

He does look more like Hiro than Rin IMHO.

This also would make Shuichi T.M.Revolution... XD

I'm not into Yaoi but I loved Gravitation, mostly because every time I was like "This reminds me something". Every DA Family fan should watch Gravitation.

PS: Am I the only one who think Eiri Yuki sounds like Hiroyuki?

I just got into a new fandom, I didn't wanted to it just happened.
They're from Pledis, like Nu'Est, and they're called Seventeen.
A new boyband with thirteen members, some says it's too many but it just makes me feel nostalgic about Super Junior.

I knew of the existence of what were called Pledis boys at first, but I'm not really interested in watching trainees. I was looking through Youtube for random K-Pop videos and I saw one from Seventeen TV.
I got curious and watched their debut MV... I'm still watching it like everyday.

One of the first things I told myself when younger idols started coming around was that I'll never stan an underage idol. I said idol though, not group... so I just need to ignore Seungkwan, Minghao and Hansol for like five/six months.
It was so fun to watch their shows I learned all their names in a day.

Day 30: Find a NU'EST picture you really like and explain why you became a fan.

I can't really explain how I became a fan, it happened so fast I didn't even realize. It all started after watching the "FACE" MV, I thought it was cool and started to talk about it with a friend.

I eventually looked up their other songs and shows and in less than half an hour I knew their names. When I decided to go to their concert I was still quite new in the fandom and it just made me fall deeper.

Day 17: Which moment made you love more your NU'EST OTP?

I'm not sure it's possible to love them even more. I probably should mention the little moment they had during the Europe Tour, that I was lucky enough to even catch on camera. I heard they had similar moments on stage in other dates of the Tour.

At 1:49 of the video.

MinRon is ❤!
